Under the umbrella of As-Siddique (RA) Trust, Masjid As-Siddique (RA) Complex and Its affiliated institutions (e.g. Islamic Research & Dawah Center, Halaqatu Tahfizul Quranil Kareem, Masjid As-Siddique (RA) Zakat Fund etc.) strives to propagate the authentic message of Islam to our community in a way that is relevant for the urban-educated population. Also, to re-establish in the mind of people that the masjid is the center for developing a vibrant islamic community similar to the time of the Prophet (SAW). Accordingly, we undertook numerous initiatives like topic-wise detailed Friday Khutbah given by the renowned Islamic Scholars, Halaqah, Q&A sessions, Quran learning programs, Arabic Language learning program, Hifz program for children & adults, Islamic Courses/ Workshop/ Seminar on various topics etc.

Brief history
Masjid As-Siddique (RA) primarily started its function as prayer room (musallah) from 1st Ramadan (1419 Hijzri) – January 1998, at a makeshift room of under construction building ofZakera Garden, Block 2, (38/4 Shantinagar).Then it was shifted to the official prayer room of Block 2, Zakera Garden (now used as prayer room of women during Jummah Salah) and continued till September 2005. From September 2005 the musallah was shifted to its present location, ground floor of 3 storied building at 38/6 Shantinagar. Initially it was comprised of several rooms of western side of the old building.It was gradually expanded as such the complete ground floor was converted into Masjid from early 2014. The Islamic Halakah started from October 2009 by Dr. Matiur Rahman. Then Islamic Scholars like Dr. Abdullah Jahangir, SK Shahidullah Khan Madani , Muzaffor Bin Mohsin took part in the halakah. From March 2011, Mufti Kazi Ibrahim was conducting the halakah on monthy basis. From November 2013, Eng. Muhammed Enamul Haque, Dr.Muhammad Saifullah,Dr.Monzur E Elahi conducted the halakah on both weekly and monthly basis. The jummah prayer started from 5th Ramadan 1435 Hizri – 4th July 2014 which was conducted by Dr. Monzur E Elahi. It was registered as IOU’s exam center in August 2015. For the reconstruction of the present building of Masjid As-Siddique (RA)Complex, the demolishing of old three storied building started from 27 Aug 2018, 15 Dhulhajj 1439. Due to reconstruction work, the daily prayers were held at prayer room of Zakera Garden Block-2 from 25 Aug 18 and weekly Jummuah Prayer were held at Zakera Garden Block-1 from 31 August 2018. Alhamdulillah, The first salah of Eid’ul Adha 1440 held on 12th August 2019 at the ground floor of the Present Masjid complex (while partially prepared). The weekly jumuah salah started on 15 Nov 2019 by khatib Dr. Muhammad Saifullah. The present masjid complex has been opened full fledge for daily salah started from 3 Jan 2020 and from 18 Jan2020 weekly halaqa started by Dr.Monzur E Elahi. Due to covid-19 pandemic, all halaqa lectures, 5 daily prayers and jummuah salat were restricted from 20th March, 2020. The restrictions were relaxed after about one and half months. Since then, the halaqa started in online basis through our official Youtube channel and Facebook page. The first online Halakah lecture was given in 21st Aug 2020, by Eng. Enamul Huq. Islamic research and Dawah center was established on 26 Mar 21 at 8th floor of the Majsid. The formal opening ceremony held on 2 Apr 2021 by Shaikh Saifuddin Belal Madani, Director of IDRC. Dr. Monzur E Elahi, Dr. Muhammad Saifullah, Dr. Rejaul Karim,Dr. Abdullahil Kafi were the key guests in the ceremony. The month long Daily halaqa started online from Islamic Research and Dawah Center( IRDC) Shantinagar facebook page from 14 Apr 2021, 1stRamadan 1442 Hizri.The Halaqatu Tahfeezil Quranil karim started from 2ndMuharram 1444 Hizri, 31st July 2022 for part-time Hifzul Quran class for generalschool going students.
